I starting skiing in the mountains of Utah at the age of 3 and have enjoyed using my body in a variety of ways ever since. I played volleyball as a young girl, was a cheerleader and dancer in high school, and discovered yoga my first year of college.
I decided to stay at home with my son after he was born and submerged myself in group fitness classes at the gym I belonged to at the time. So when I was approached about teaching those classes, it seemed like a natural fit. I got my AFAA group fitness certification in 2012 which was quickly followed by a Maddog Spinning® certification.
A neighbor invited me to my first CrossFit workout, Murph, in 2015. The strong feeling of community was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Between the support from the members and coaches and the satisfaction of finishing such a grueling workout, I was hooked and have been a CrossFit member ever since. I am passionate about CrossFit and all it has to offer.
