The Colorado Bureau of Investigation releases a list of the most wanted sex offenders every month. The Parker Police Department provides this link to access sex offender information within the Town of Parker. This information is provided in order to enhance public safety and in compliance with House Bill The Parker Police Department does not post information concerning sex offenders only convicted of misdemeanor sex offenses or juveniles adjudicated for sex crimes. The sex offender registry includes only those persons who have been required by law to register and who are in compliance with the sex offender registration laws. You should not rely solely on the sex offender registry as a safeguard against perpetrators of sexual assault in our community. The crime for which a person has been convicted may not accurately reflect the level of risk posed by the sex offender to the community.
We provide the residents of Douglas County the following information as a tool to assist with questions they may have regarding the topic of predatory offenders. A public website providing information pertaining to level 3 and non-compliant predatory offenders is available at the Minnesota Predatory Offender Registration website. Predatory offenders that serve time in a prison facility are subject to an end of confinement review board.
You may enter any address in the County and see real-time information on the publishable offenders within the specified radius of the address you enter. Offenders move frequently, so instead of having to check the maps on a weekly basis, the best way to stay informed is to take advantage of our free email alert system. You may confidentially register as many addresses in the County as you wish, and we will continuously monitor the addresses and send you an email alert if a new offender registers an address within the specified radius of any address you register. There is no cost for this service and no limit to the number of addresses you can register — your email address and physical addresses are all confidential. Please view the Presentation above to get a better understanding of the facts about registered sex offenders and what our office is doing to comply with the law.
